Bridge repair works have started on M5 Motorway in the direction of Szeged at chainage 87 on 10th September 2021, which will end by 28th October 2021. Due to the repair works a temporary traffic diversion is being installed between chainage 86 and 90. AKA Ltd. kindly asks road users to exercise patience due to the traffic restrictions caused by the repairs.
Repair works have started on 10th September 2021 within the aforementioned section. Between 10th September 2021 and 28th October 2021, traffic diversion will be implemented during the bridge repair works at chainage 87, in the direction of Szeged, which also affects M5 motorway in the direction of Budapest. The diversion is being installed between chainage 86 and 90.
During the repair works, within the aforementioned section of M5 motorway in the direction of Szeged the fast lane is being diverted to the other side, thus traffic will be able to use two traffic lanes. Due to the diversions within the aforementioned section, two traffic lanes will be available for travelers in the direction of Budapest as well.
The diversion will be indicated by yellow flashing lights for road users. Speed limits of 60 and 80 km/h are to be expected within the aforementioned section, which we kindly ask to comply with.

AKA Ltd. asks travelers to drive more carefully, keeping the speed limit on the M5 Motorway. Unforeseeable events may result in changes to the aforementioned schedule.
